Jimin and Pasha’s love story began nine years ago while they were studying in Montréal. Their journey together, filled with shared adventures, laughter, and an abundance of love, culminated in an incredible wedding celebration at the Ancient Cedars Lodge in Pemberton. Nestled among towering trees, this picturesque log cabin venue provided the perfect setting for their intimate and heartfelt wedding, blending the beauty of nature with the warmth of their love.
From the moment guests arrived, there was a palpable sense of warmth and connection that set the tone for the entire day. Jimin and Pasha poured their hearts into every aspect of their wedding, making it a true reflection of their personalities and love story. They crafted personalized welcome notes, hand wrote each name card, knotted every napkin, and even designed unique signage that added a personal touch to every corner of the celebration. Their attention to detail made the day not only beautiful but deeply meaningful.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly their heartfelt vows. Surrounded by loved ones who had traveled from far and wide to witness their union, Jimin and Pasha exchanged the most touching words, filled with emotion and sincerity. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as they shared their promises to one another, and the love in the air was tangible.
As the day progressed, the ambiance during dinner was nothing short of magical. I was fortunate enough to steal them away for some golden hour photos on a cliffside, with the majestic Mount Currie in the background. This moment, with the sun casting a warm glow over them, was truly perfect. Upon returning to the reception, they delighted everyone with a choreographed dance they had practiced in their kitchen for days leading up to the wedding, and it was nothing short of spectacular.
This was one of the most intimate and warm weddings I’ve had the pleasure of shooting. Jimin and Pasha radiated so much love not only for each other but also for their friends and family. Their wedding was a true celebration of their journey together, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed.
