Victoria and Connor’s wedding at Poplar Grove Winery was a day full of adventure, filled with some unexpected twists, gorgeous scenery, and LOTS of love. From the moment I met these two, I knew their day would be as fun and laid-back as they are–and it didn’t disappoint!
The day started at a cozy Airbnb, where everyone lounged by the pool, sipped champagne, and slowly got ready. Victoria and Connor kept the vibe chill—even when the weather decided to throw in a little drama. Right as we were about to head to a stunning cliffside location for portraits, the skies opened up. But instead of stressing, they turned it into a relaxed pause to enjoy time with their crew indoors. Once the rain stopped, we stepped out onto the cliff, greeted by the most breathtaking desert-like backdrop. The freshly washed scenery made their portraits even more magical!
The ceremony at Poplar Grove Winery was everything they’d dreamed of: intimate yet grand, with a lake shimmering in the sunlight behind them. One of their family members officiated, which, in my opinion, always adds a touch of warmth and personality to the moment. Victoria’s smile as Connor caught her eye mid-vows could have lit up the whole winery.
As we transitioned to the reception, the weather kept us on our toes. Dark clouds rolled in, gifting us with the most dramatic skies I’ve ever seen. Naturally, I grabbed my camera and convinced Victoria and Connor to step outside for a quick photo session. The result? Epic shots that could be straight out of a magazine.
Inside, the celebration was in full swing. Guests mingled over wine, danced, and laughed like they’d known each other forever. Victoria and Connor made sure everyone felt at home—whether they were belting out songs on the dance floor or sneaking off for a quieter moment by the fire pit.
