Bridges Restaurant Wedding | Vancouver, BC | Paige + Jamie

THE WEDDING DAY

When Paige and Jamie told me that they were having their wedding at Bridges Restaurant in Granville Island Vancouver BC on a beautiful summer weekend, I was super excited! Maybe slightly more stoked knowing that they would be ending the night with the best view of the fireworks from the Celebration of Light

Love Story from the lovely bride Paige:

Jamie and I started dating in 2009 when we both attended universities in Ottawa. In 2016, we both took leaves from our jobs and took off for a 4 month Europe trip, visiting 15 countries along the way. In Cinque Terre in Italy, we climbed up a hill to watch the sun set over the village of Manarola. I took a few pictures and wanted to climb back down before it got dark, but Jamie was insistent we stay until sunset. We were in a beautiful spot (where apparently he was about to propose), but a gaggle of young girls came up to take pictures just then. So we continued a little ways down to path to where Jamie asked me if I wanted to stop and take a few more photos. I did, and when I turned around he asked me to continue our adventure and marry him. I said YES and it promptly started to pour rain. Torrentially. And of course, it was now pitch black. We used our cell phone lights to scale down the rocky steps and into the village for a celebratory drink.
