Sassafraz Intimate Wedding | Toronto, ON | Stephanie + Mike

This summer I got to have a stellar weekend in Toronto photographing these two romantic souls, Stephanie and Mike. Their wedding was simply beautiful and modern, and it was held at Sassafraz Restaurant, located in the heart of Yorkville, Toronto Ontario. During the speech, the groomsman shared a story about the couple. It went like this: Once upon a time, before Stephanie and Mike were hubby and wifey, (in the early days of their relationship) there was a time when Steph was having a bad day at work. After her work, Mike and Steph were supposed to have the dinner together. But Mike knowing that Stephanie wasn’t having the greatest day, wanted to cheer her up by surprising her with delicious burgers. However, at the time, he wasn’t sure what her favorite toppings, nor flavors were. So instead of calling Stephanie and asking what she’d like (Which would have ruined the surprise), Mike decided to grab all the burgers with all the different toppings, just to make sure that there was something that Stephanie loved. And of course, it was a success. It put a giant smile on her face. Honestly though, how sweet is this? I was secretly shedding tears behind my camera haha. During the entire speech, Steph and Mike were looking at each other. I’m sure they were falling in love all over again and again. I loved capturing all the feelings … and I loved being there for them, and love how it made me feel. All warm and fuzzy and mushy inside haha. What can I say, I’m a hopeless romantic and I adore love❤️ so thankful to be capturing all your fleeting moments Thank you for inviting me all the way to Toronto to have me capture your one of the most special moments in life !!
