“Ahhh okay…i have so much to say this about this incredible California redwood forest elopement. It was the most incredible and beautiful wedding of my life with the sweetest beautiful souls. good bless ? thank you life for all these wonderful, unforgettable experience, and for new friends and… I can’t even… probably going to be one of the best memories ever ?” Vancouver wedding photographer Canada
I think that is the first thing I said at the end of the day And still true, and holds special place in my heart. Maggie and Elliott, where did you guys come from ?!
Edmonton Alberta! haha but they decided to elope to the beautiful old redwood forest in California to tie the knot. They were originally going to get married on Gambier Island BC and that is how we got to connect as they were looking for someone in Vancouver, but im so happy they chose to elope to Cali instead and glad I got to be part of it all! And after spending couple days with these two, and their friends and family fell in love with them even more! I miss every single one i met and Maggie and Elliott! 2017 we must reunite to do a hike or trail or camp or all of the above!
About the day… Very calm and relaxed, but also intimate and full of excitement, lots of emotion, love, constant smiles, tears of joy and blessings. It started out with a morning walk on the beach, waves rolling in, the breeze brushing against her hair, and slightly misty backdrop. The weather was perfect, lights were falling gracefully in between the trees, creating this magnificent shimmering glow on everyone. Maggie and Elliott, surrounded by their loved ones, stood in the middle of the redwood forest to promise everlasting love for one another. Just five of their closest friends and family got to witness this wonderful celebration, you can imagine how emotions were flowing out. It touched my heart. The celebration came to an end on the hilltop full of daisies — dancing away till the sunset. over the horizon. The way Maggie and Elliott look at each other, their walk and wedding, the light, the people — every second, every moment was an inspiration.
